California Mastitis Test CMT

California Mastitis Test, or CMT liquid is a simple and effective indicator of mastitis in dairy cows. When mixed with milk containing high levels of somatic cells, the CMT liquid and milk react to give a purple, congealed liquid. CMT is one of many ways to identify mastitis in cattle.
