Dehorning Shears

Dehorning shears are required for the dehorning of large established horns in cattle. Essential where cattle horns are causing injury to the animal or other animals, or they're risking injuring personnel on dairy farms. Dehorning shears provide a quick method of removing horns delivering immediate results over alternative methods.

If you're new to using dehorning shears, it is recommend that you use a hot dehorning iron to cauterise the blood vessels once removed, as well as using anesthetic for the animal’s welfare.
