The Vink Beef Alternate Traction Calving Aid is designed specifically for larger beef cows, it is slightly larger and features a more powerful alternate traction ratchet which allows for a smoother and more effective calving.
The alternate traction ratchet allows for legs to be pulled individually, which is especially useful in awkward calving situations. The alternate traction ratchet is also stronger and features a long ratchet handle, which gives greater leverage and pulling power. The Vink Beef Alternate Traction Calving Aid is suited to larger beef and 'continental' cow breeds.
The Vink Beef Alternate Traction Calving Aid has a 1.8 metre shaft with a head that is 60 mm wider than usual. The Vink Beef Calving Aid is only supplied with an alternate traction ratchet.
